Interesting question right?, In life there are many things we wish we could do but often we procrastinate or get distracted by dopamine stimulating activities instead of doing self improvement habits like meditation. So why cant we stop our bad habits and start productive ones? Well it comes down to low gaba levels in the brain which can inhibit addictivite impulses of dopamine. Secondly we have too much stress in modern society just living in the air pollution of wifi, emfs, 4g, 5g etc etc and our diets. Stress wastes dopamine into adrenaline and means our nervous system goes into a sympathetic state instead of a parasympathetic state. Fight & flight vs rest and digestion. Another reason could be low willpower levels, a good book on this topic is called "The willpower Instinct by Kelly M" Chronic fatigue syndrome and mitochondria dysfunction are also two causes of super low energy levels.
